Mall closing temporarily due to government order
Earlier today, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer ordered all “non-essential” businesses to close until at least April 7, in order to stem the spread of COVID-19, also known as Coronavirus or Chinese Virus. The Mall Of Monroe will comply with this order, closing at 6pm today and remaining closed until the emergency order is lifted.
Unfortunately, the current circumstances make it impossible to conduct planned Easter Bunny events, the Tuesday is for Toddlers program that occurs on the first and third Tuesday of every month and the Celebrate Children event scheduled for April 18. The management staff of Meadowbrook Mall sincerely regrets having to cancel these events and apologizes for any disappointment this may cause.
The Mall Of Monroe has been serving the people of southeast Michigan since 1988. It is located at 2121 North Monroe Street in Frenchtown Township, Michigan. The Mall Of Monroe is owned and managed in association with the Cafaro family of companies, based in Niles, Ohio. One of the nation’s largest privately held shopping center developers, the Cafaro organization has, over the years, developed more than 30 million square feet of commercial real estate in 14 states.
